Yes, and no. Vampire bats feed on nothing but blood, but actually scrape their prey and then drink the blood from the scrape. Don't worry, they don't drink human blood. The horses, and cattle don't get hurt either. It is more like an annoying mosquito than a monster.-John Baskin
